Controls
- Movement - A & D / Left Arrow & Right Arrow
- Start / Parry - Space
- Change Palette - Minus Button & Equals Button (Top Row)
Gameplay
It's a typical score-attack game, avoid losing all your life for as long as you can to get more points. You get points by not getting by attacks. Different attacks give a different amount of points. You can also get more points by carefully timing and parrying the attacks. Keep in mind, you're left vulnerable at the beginning and end of a parry!
Parrying costs one energy bar, which slowly charges on its own once depleted. On a successful parry you get a multitude of benefits:
- More Points
- Half an Energy Bar
- Regain a Lost Life
- Destroy all on-screen negative effects
So yeah, PARRY!
Attacks / Obstacles
- ROCKET - nothing special
- LASER - intimidating at first, try to learn its charge pattern to know when to parry it
- SLIME - slow, but if it falls on the floor it makes it sticky, eating up an input
- SMOKE BOMB - breaks into a smoke cloud that obscures your view
- METEOR - fast; leaves a fire that damages you when it falls
- BIGGER LASER - sounds pretty scary, but it's basically just another laser, just... bigger

This game was made for NOKIA 3310 JAM 6. I'll make the game open-source in a few days as well.
